Enigmatic dream pop purveyor The Tower of Light blends elements of shoegaze, post-punk, and electronic music into songs that teeter between despair and euphoria. Taking his project's name from a 19th century book claiming to be the channeled prophecy of a young girl from Alabama, the Tower of Light's formative musical experiences included buying My Bloody Valentine's Isn't Anything as a teen and playing in bands throughout high school. After spending several years working on instrumental music while based in Detroit, a move to Brooklyn helped bring the Tower of Light project into focus; a self-titled debut album arrived in February 2014.
